Been a customer for around 7 years and always bought one time purchases, never used their customer service as always happy with product, kept my very severe eczema very healthy to the point where I was eczema and blemish free when nothing else worked, never reached out for steroids or other creams.
Couple months ago I had a severe allergy reaction so I reached out for my eczema cream that I recently bought that month as an emergency supply even though I was mostly eczema free (take it with me when I go abroad)
And suddenly it didn’t work, did nothing. I was confused as I never had this issue in the years I bought it.
Quickly I bought more thinking the cream had expired, and in my panic with the flare up, I subscribed to buy cream every 3-4 weeks.
The cream arrived and it was exactly like my previous one, it did nothing, nothing how it was before, it was, now it smells very chemically and similar to bleach and it does not absorb into my skin and it does not moisturise it.
for context, before it had a very nice cooling moisturising effect that immediately worked with my skin.
Been trying to get in contact with smooth my skin customer service for a few months and it is so incredibly hard to get in contact with customer service, tried to cancel my prescription on multiple occasions, leaving emails unanswered for months, and I keep getting charged for these unwanted subscriptions.
If this comment doesn’t get any response I’ll have to take this dispute up with my bank to sort it out, real shame because my skin for the past few months has been very hard to deal with, reminds me of how my skin was 7 years ago before I discovered soothemyskin, I guess that era of being eczema free is over until I find a replacement.
